JRD876 is a Jamaican-born Canadian Recording Artist & Music Producer. His stage name came about by adding his initials, which stands for ‘Jonordo Roshane Dixon’ and the Jamaica area code.

JRD876 started out in the entertainment industry as a Promoter alongside Dj RumBlood. Starting from 2011 the two would travel across Jamaica endorsing various artists ranging from upcoming acts to major stars on the dancehall music scene. In 2014 the two started their record production career alongside Dizzy from Long Life Music.

By 2015 the trio released their first compilation Eruption Riddim. Their first single was Mama Don’t Cry by Shane O released in the summer of 2016. Briefly they managed Ele Trunk, the son of dancehall superstar Elephant Man, also released his first single One. JRD876 started to work as a solo record producer after his last venture (Smirnoff Riddim) alongside Long Life Music in 2018.

JRD876 started his artist career & independent record label JRD876 Muzik in spring of 2019. On December 30th, he released the compilation Di Trap Riddim. He did it to celebrate his little brother, Balla Bale’s birthday and to celebrate the life of his mother, who was buried on that day two years prior. The 11 track compilation featured JRD876 seven times, with the most popular song being PullUp (Gimmie Love) by Fully Top Dolla. The following year JRD876 released multiple singles as well as It’s Miss Honey Dee E.P and two albums Yorkdale Riddim & Maple Leaf Riddim.
